Fayetteville Auto Glass Repair FAQ
Is it safe to drive around Fayetteville with a cracked windshield?
It depends on the damage. A long crack, or one in the driver's line of sight, blocks your view and is not worth the risk. The windshield is also a structural part of the vehicle, so damaged glass leaves the frame weaker in a serious accident. If you cannot see the road clearly, do not drive.
How does Fayetteville summer heat affect a chip that survived the winter?
It tends to finish the job. Glass expands in heat and direct sun, so a chip that made it through a North Carolina winter can run on the first hot afternoon, especially when you cool the cabin down fast with the air conditioning. Park in shade where you can, and treat a surviving chip as borrowed time.
Why did my windshield crack without anything hitting it?
Stress cracks form with no impact, usually starting at the windshield's edge and working inward. Temperature swings, vibration, and pressure cause them, and Fayetteville weather swings hard in both directions between seasons. Edge cracks grow faster than damage in the center because the perimeter is the least supported area of the glass.
How long does the work take, and when can I drive?
A chip repair can be done in as little as 30 minutes. A replacement takes longer, and calibration can add time since every vehicle has its own requirements. Your technician gives you the safe wait before driving based on conditions that day. The adhesive typically takes 24 to 48 hours to fully set.
What payment options does Auto Glass Now accept?
All major credit and debit cards, auto insurance, and a Buy Now, Pay Later option through Zip. Cash is accepted for in-shop service only, since mobile technicians cannot accept it. Partial payments and personal checks are not accepted, and any deductible is paid before work begins. There is also a price match guarantee.
What areas around Fayetteville does this location cover?
The Fayetteville shop is an easy drive from Spring Lake, Hope Mills, Raeford, Erwin and Dunn, and the communities in between. You can get a quote and book online or by phone, and same-day or next-day appointments are often available. Mobile repair and replacement are offered across the service area listed on this page.
Customer Reviews
Great timely service. I have had 2 windshields on different vehicles replaced at their shop and this one they came to my home. Every time the job was done professionally, no leaks, very clean job like it came from the factory and no mess left behind. I would definitely recommend this company on the basis of 3 separate experiences of excellent work at a very reasonable price. Thank you to the very pleasant person making the timely appointments at the front desk and the technician that did a great job. I give them both a 10/10. Don H.
Don,Austin was absolutely amazing! He kept in communication for my mobile service, arrived early, and did a fabulous job. He was even able to help fix my windshield wiper that wasn't working on the passenger side. Austin kept me informed and also gave me some education on a few other things not related to the windshield. I genuinely appreciate the time he took to talk to me and help me. 10 out of 10!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing their services. Pricing was great as well. $500 less than what Safelite quoted me.
Atiya Sampson,We were traveling to NC this weekend from Atlanta for a funeral and a rock hit our side window which caused it to spread quickly! The very next day around 11 o'clock before checking out of our hotel we called Auto Glass Now in Fayetteville NC stone that was on our way back and they were able to get our exact window delivered to the shop by 1pm!!! We showed up and were literally paying and walking out the door within 40 minutes! They even had a QR code that you could scan to break down your payments over the next 6 weeks which came in handy because this type of repair expense is always unexpected and of course bone of uswant to file a claim and have our insurance go up! Lol! The entire staff was warm and friendly from the first initial call to the time we were handed our keys back! They also offer a military discount. Great place, trusted professionals and the warranty goes wherever you go Nationwide! Can't beat it :)
Vikki A. Johnson,I think that they did an awesome job on replacing the windshield in my Nissan Altima. They calibrated the Advanced driver Assistant System which was included in their already low competitive price. I was very happy with the service I received on the phone making the appointment, the customer service when I arrived and check out upon my departure was great. They made me feel like a valued customer. This was the 2nd time I have used their service, rocks can’t seem to stay away from my windshield. I’m glad that their’s a place that I can take my car for fast, reasonably priced, and quality work.
