Carrolton Auto Glass Repair FAQ
How does Carrollton weather affect an existing windshield chip?
Summer heat expands the glass while humidity and rain push moisture into the damage, where it cannot evaporate back out. Add a long thunderstorm season with wind-driven debris and the occasional hailstorm, and a small chip in Carrollton has plenty working against it. Repairing it early usually saves you a replacement.
Why did my windshield crack with no impact?
Stress cracks appear without anything hitting the glass. They usually start at the windshield's edge and travel inward, set off by temperature swings, vibration, or pressure. Around Carrollton the jump from a car baked in a parking lot to full air conditioning is a frequent trigger. Edge damage spreads faster than damage in the middle.
Is it safe to run my car through a car wash with a chipped windshield?
Not a commercial one. Pressure and temperature change stress damaged glass, and water that gets into the chip stays trapped between the layers where it cannot dry. Hand washing is gentler. Leave the windshield alone until the chip is filled, which often takes about half an hour.
Is the work covered by a warranty?
Yes. Auto Glass Now provides a lifetime warranty on windshield repairs and replacements against leaks, molding issues, and glass defects, for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. It covers defects in workmanship and materials, and it does not transfer if you sell the vehicle. Some conditions apply, and your local store can confirm the details.
Can Auto Glass Now fix a window broken in a break-in?
Yes. We repair and replace glass after a break-in or vandalism, including windshields, rear windows, and side glass. Document the damage with photos, file a police report, and contact your insurer, since comprehensive coverage rather than liability is generally what applies to this kind of damage. Cover the opening while parked until your appointment.
Does the Carrollton shop serve nearby towns?
Yes. Our Carrollton location is a short drive from Temple, Villa Rica, Bremen, Tallapoosa and Newnan, and the surrounding communities. Walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is better since service depends on scheduling and glass availability that day. For mobile repair or replacement, check the service area listed on this page.
Customer Reviews
I cannot say enough about this company! Not only were they almost $200 cheaper than Safelite, they were a million times more professional. The entire process from setting it up to completing the job was quick and easy. They had zero issues installing a calibrated window in my MK7. Safelite had me thinking it was the end of the world for their tech to do. I highly recommend them for ALL glass
Staci Carter,While driving home from the lake, I had to brake quickly while hauling a gas grill in the bed of my truck. Unfortunately, the grill decided it wanted to ride in the backseat and came straight through the rear glass. Needless to say, I needed a new back window.
derrick perdue,They did a fantastic job replacing my windshield, and the entire process was completed in a very timely manner. The technician, Jason, was extremely informative and took the time to recommend ways to help prolong the life of my new windshield. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire experience. I honestly couldn't be happier with the service I received and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of windshield replacement.

michael silvey,Last summer I got two dings from rocks on my front windshield. These guys repaired in such a way that the dings were completely unnoticeable, and the windshield never ran with additional cracks. Recently my husband had back windshield replaced within a day of calling and saved us OVER 50 percent from another quote. Plus they are very friendly!!
