Smyrna Auto Glass Repair FAQ
How quickly should I get a chip repaired in Smyrna?
As soon as you reasonably can. A repair can be done in as little as 30 minutes, costs less than a replacement, and restores strength to the glass. Once a crack starts to spread, or once it reaches the driver's line of sight, replacement becomes the safer option. The Smyrna shop inspects the damage for free.
Does hail reach Smyrna?
Spring and summer storms across Georgia bring it. Hailstones range from harmless pellets to stones big enough to dent panels and break glass. Covered parking is the best defense, and a padded cover, heavy blankets, or floor mats work in a pinch. Check the windshield after a storm even if nothing looks obviously broken.
Is it safe to run my car through a car wash with a chipped windshield?
Not a commercial one. Pressure and temperature change stress damaged glass, and water that gets into the chip stays trapped between the layers where it cannot dry. Hand washing is gentler. Leave the windshield alone until the chip is filled, which often takes about half an hour.
Should I repair or replace my windshield?
It depends on the damage. As general guidance, a chip smaller than a quarter that has not started to spider, with no more than three chips total, is often repairable. Longer cracks, larger damage, or damage sitting in the driver's line of sight usually calls for replacement. Auto Glass Now in Smyrna inspects the damage for free and gives you an honest recommendation either way.
Is the work covered by a warranty?
Yes. Auto Glass Now provides a lifetime warranty on windshield repairs and replacements against leaks, molding issues, and glass defects, for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. It covers defects in workmanship and materials, and it does not transfer if you sell the vehicle. Some conditions apply, and your local store can confirm the details.
Does the Smyrna shop serve nearby towns?
Yes. Our Smyrna location is a short drive from Marietta, Mableton, Kennesaw, Sandy Springs and Roswell, and the surrounding communities. Walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is better since service depends on scheduling and glass availability that day. For mobile repair or replacement, check the service area listed on this page.
Customer Reviews
By far the best experience for Glass replacement! I originally had an appointment with Safelite and that experience was far from great. It ended up leading me to Auto Glass now where they were able to schedule my appointment the next day, get the glass installed in under an hour, and even had much better pricing than Safelite. AutoGlass Nows price was almost half what i was quoted at Safelite. Shoukd have started with this company 1st. Plus, unlike Safelite, this company actually has representatives who answer the phone and can handle any issues or questions right away! Will be using this company again should I ever have Auto glass needs
Skyler Cloonan,Thank you, Auto Glass Now! What you may not know is that I did my homework before selecting your company. Even though you were one of the providers recommended by my insurance company, I don't just choose anybody. Your team stood head and shoulders above the competition!
LaShone Butler,My daughter's car window shattered at school. I called Auto Glass at 9am. The technician showed up at the school the same day at 130pm to repair the window. The worse thunderstorm of the summer started up at the same time. He graciously followed me to my home about 10 min away to repair the window in my garage. He replaced my tinted window with a tinted window. Great service. Great work. Great price! Thank you Auto Glass!
Fleurette Fitch,I’ve used this guy twice and he has been amazing!!! He’s done 3 of our cars and is always so professional, efficient, kind, hard working and flexible! It’s been so hot outside and he did not complain about the time I needed and was so pleasant to work with!! If you’re looking for a windshield replacement! I would go with him!!!
Anthony & Angela Senegal,I was going to cancel my appointment because I had a better price. The young lady I spoke with advised she would get with her manager to see if they could match the price. She called me back within 5 minutes with an even better price! I was so overjoyed and grateful because this was definitely an unexpected expense. My technician arrived within the time frame provided and communicated effectively. Service all the way around is 10/10. I highly recommend!
