Windshield Replacement and Repair in the Reno, NV Area

I was careless and broke the rear window out of my new Chevy Silverado pickup by not securing a load properly. When I called to schedule an appointment they asked me when I’d like the work performed. I said how about this Friday? They said no problem and asked me if I’d like Mobil service or bring it in to the shop. I said Mobil would be great if the price is the same. They assured me it was the same. They quoted me a price which was out of my budget. (The window was automatic power operated type) so I asked them to price a single rear window with no opening. I never used it anyway. The quoted me an excellent price to which I agreed. On Tuesday I realized that my schedule had change iand I would not be available. I asked if the could do it the next day which was Wednesday and they said sure, no problem. Wednesday afternoon Tommy S. Arrived and removed the old glass. Cleaned and vacuumed all the broken bits in the truck, installed the new glass in no time. He was prompt, skilled and professional. He gave me care instructions and advised me not to wash the truck for two days, don’t slam the doors and leave the tape in place for a couple days. Then he was off. They worked around my schedule, did a great job for a great price. I couldn’t be happier.

The two people who worked with me were very professional, kind and efficient. The woman who answered the phone was so kind and coordinated a call with my insurance, my deductible was waved and I didn’t gave time pay a single cent. I had a really satisfying experience and I thank Auto Glass Now.

While traveling eastbound on I-80 I once again was pelted with rocks and one of them put a star in the windshield. I knew with temperatures getting into the 40s at my house that night, that star was going to turn in to a crack across my windshield if I didn't get it taken care of right away. I did a quick search and Auto Glass now popped up. I didn't even call or anything I just drove up. I walked in and was greeted really quickly I asked if there was any way I could get a star repaired to keep the glass from cracking all the way. They took a look at it, it fit the parameters for repair, and they immediately took the car back. I was shocked. $60 and a half an hour later I was back on the road. They even told me that if for some reason the star repair did not hold, which is possible and I know that, to come right back and they put the $60 toward a new windshield.
