Orlando Auto Glass Repair FAQ
How do I keep my windshield in good shape in Orlando?
Park in shade and use a sunshade. Clean the glass with an automotive cleaner rather than a household one, since ammonia damages auto glass and window tint. Replace wiper blades every 6 to 12 months, sooner in Florida heat and afternoon storms, and get chips repaired before storm season starts sending debris at your car.
Is mobile windshield service available in Orlando?
Most Auto Glass Now locations offer mobile repair and replacement at your home or office, and ADAS calibration can often be done there too. Florida rain is the usual complication, since adhesives and calibration equipment both need dry conditions. An afternoon storm may move the appointment indoors or to another day.
Why do my wipers wear out so quickly in Orlando?
Sun and daily rain. UV breaks down rubber fast, and afternoon storms keep the blades working all summer, so the usual 6 to 12 month rule runs short in Florida. Streaking, squeaking, skipping, or cracked rubber all mean it is time. Silicone blades typically last longer in this kind of heat.
How long does the work take, and when can I drive?
A chip repair can be done in as little as 30 minutes. A replacement takes longer, and calibration can add time since every vehicle has its own requirements. Your technician gives you the safe wait before driving based on conditions that day. The adhesive typically takes 24 to 48 hours to fully set.
What payment options does Auto Glass Now accept?
All major credit and debit cards, auto insurance, and a Buy Now, Pay Later option through Zip. Cash is accepted for in-shop service only, since mobile technicians cannot accept it. Partial payments and personal checks are not accepted, and any deductible is paid before work begins. There is also a price match guarantee.
What areas around Orlando does this location cover?
The Orlando shop is an easy drive from Pine Hills, Kissimmee, Alafaya, Winter Springs and Oviedo, and the communities in between. You can get a quote and book online or by phone, and same-day or next-day appointments are often available. Mobile repair and replacement are offered across the service area listed on this page.
Customer Reviews
My experience was great! I wasn’t able to go into the shop so they had a technician come to me. Omar was very communicative, polite and professional. He was able to remove and install the glass quickly and even was able to save and adhere my sunpass sticker, apartment gate sticker and my State Farm sticker exactly where I had them on the glass. His attention to detail was surprising and greatly appreciated! I will recommend you guys to everyone. This was my fist glass replacement and you made the experience wonderful and seamless! Thank you Auto Glass Now and a special thank you to Omar!
Nick Gil,I can't begin to express how happy I am with the service from Auto Glass now. After several issues working with Safelite and trying to coordinate insurance, it was an absolute nightmare. I called Auto Glass now, and from the moment I spoke to Jhaney, I quickly realized it would be a great experience. She went above and beyond helping explain the process, and even conferenced in my insurance company to help me with the process. She is also very knowledgeable about product and the technology. I can't say enough great things about her.
Steve Davis,A tech came out to our home today to replace our windshield. The rubber strip around the windshield was rotting and we have had some dampness in the interior of our car. The tech was on time, friendly and knowledgeable . Upon inspection, he showed and then told me that the dampness was not because of a windshield issue. He suggested where we might explore next to resolve our issue.
Claudette Kilby,While coming to Orlando from the Atlanta area, we had a small rock hit our windshield and initially, we didn't think there was any damage... About 15 minutes later we saw a crack starting to spread near the windshield camera on our 2019 honda pilot!
Jeffery Nunnally,My husband and we're visiting Florida when we got a crack in winshield. We were so upset. I found this company and DJ was amazing he listened help us get the best price. Our technician was Omar and also was the best. I did not speak to the manager but I know based on working the team she must also be great. We are so appreciative of the kindness they all took a stressful situation and made it seamless. Oh I forgot they even traveled to us. Again thank you. I don't normally write reviews this long but how could I not. 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 Kimmi
