Oklahoma City Auto Glass Repair FAQ
Does hail damage windshields around Oklahoma City?
It can. Hailstones range from harmless pellets to large stones that dent panels and break glass outright, and Oklahoma gets its share of them. Even a storm that leaves no obvious break can chip a windshield, so look the glass over after hail passes and get small damage repaired before it has a chance to spread.
How do Oklahoma temperature swings affect an existing crack?
They speed it up. A spring day here can run from a cold morning to a hot afternoon, and the glass expands and contracts along with it. Moisture that got into the chip expands too. Add a hot windshield meeting a blast of air conditioning and you have the most common way a small chip in Oklahoma City becomes a long crack.
Can I slow a crack from spreading until my appointment?
Only temporarily. Clear tape over the damage keeps dirt and moisture out while preserving visibility, parking in shade limits the temperature swing, and driving gently around Oklahoma City potholes and speed bumps reduces flex. These are stopgaps rather than fixes. A professional repair or replacement is the only real solution.
Is the work covered by a warranty?
Yes. Auto Glass Now provides a lifetime warranty on windshield repairs and replacements against leaks, molding issues, and glass defects, for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. It covers defects in workmanship and materials, and it does not transfer if you sell the vehicle. Some conditions apply, and your local store can confirm the details.
Can Auto Glass Now fix a window broken in a break-in?
Yes. We repair and replace glass after a break-in or vandalism, including windshields, rear windows, and side glass. Document the damage with photos, file a police report, and contact your insurer, since comprehensive coverage rather than liability is generally what applies to this kind of damage. Cover the opening while parked until your appointment.
Does the Oklahoma City shop serve nearby towns?
Yes. Our Oklahoma City location is a short drive from Mustang, Yukon, Moore, Edmond and Norman, and the surrounding communities. Walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is better since service depends on scheduling and glass availability that day. For mobile repair or replacement, check the service area listed on this page.
Customer Reviews
An illegal migrant worker used a weed trimmer and struck a rock which then ricocheted into my passenger side glass window, breaking it completely. The landscaping company owner was reasonable and was willing to pay for the damage. Finding a company to perform the job was more difficult than needed given the timing. There were companies that would do it at, what I thought was unfair pricing. Not to mention, the waiting time would take a few days. Auto Glass Now! told me they had an opening the same day. I accepted the offer at a very reasonable price and they did a fantastic job in performing the installation within a 2 hour time frame. The women in the office were very friendly and hospitable. I'm thankful for their assistance and the service performed.
Sean Sutton,After researching a half-dozen businesses, most near my location, AutoGlass Now by far saved me money. The savings was only matched by the professionalism that I had while I waited in their lobby. I could see my car the whole time while there. In a little more than an hour they had muscled out my old, broken windshield and installed the new. They cleaned up any remnants of the mess and delivered my car, anew. Thank you, AutoGlass, this is our second time getting a new windshield with you, and since we live in OK it probably won't be the last. You're awesome!
Laura Parman-Flores,I had a cracked windshield. This store goes the extra mile. Received a call immediately to confirm my order, was advised of the cost and advised of when my appointment would be. Their cost was very reasonable and very competitive. Brian was on time and replaced the windshield and completed all calibration. Great service and great staff!
Rob S. Ashutterbug,Amazing price and service! I called one day and ended up scheduling an appointment the next. I'm so happy with their service and it didn't take long to have my windshield replaced and it's looking beautiful with no issues afterwards.
Alyssa W (Lyssa),I am so very glad I was referred to Auto Glass Now, they did an amazing job for so much cheaper than anywhere else. Got me in the day I called them and had it installed in no time. I will be a return customer and I absolutely will refer people to them. Thank you
