Windshield Replacement & Repair in Denver, CO

Gravel. Winter sand and cinders on Colorado roads, chip-seal resurfacing, and mountain routes all throw rock at your glass, and rocks kicked up by other vehicles are the most common cause of windshield damage. At highway speed a small stone is enough to leave a star break in the windshield.

Plastic scraper, defroster running, soft brush for the snow. Without a scraper, the defroster with the visors flipped down, a flat plastic card, tepid water, or a de-icer spray all work. Never use hot water on frozen glass, and never scrape hard. Both turn a Denver winter morning into a replacement.

Over time. UV exposure is stronger at Denver's elevation, and years of it make glass more brittle and can leave it hazy, which you notice as glare. Park in shade when you can and use a sunshade. Yellowing, clouding, or increasing glare on an older windshield is worth having inspected.

Yes. Auto Glass Now provides a lifetime warranty on windshield repairs and replacements against leaks, molding issues, and glass defects, for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. It covers defects in workmanship and materials, and it does not transfer if you sell the vehicle. Some conditions apply, and your local store can confirm the details.
