Customer Reviews
The installers were total professionals, and very easy to talk to. The woman behind the counter could not have been nicer. They got me in and out quick and they were the lowest estimate I got by far. I would definitely recommend them.
I just had repairs done at this shop. They were very kind and made sure I was well informed throughout the process. Nilsa made sure I knew how to care for my car in the coming days too. Super helpful. It was all quick and painless. Thankful to have my vehicle repaired that quickly. Highly recommend.
I arrived 15 minutes early and 5 minutes later the technician was working on my windshield......THE. TECHNICIAN was done 👍
I normally don’t leave reviews this long, but this one deserves context because one employee at Safelite Naperville genuinely went above and beyond for us. I accidentally left my car keys in my wife’s vehicle while she was at work at Northwestern hospital CDH, and because I’m a firefighter/paramedic with 48-hour shifts coming up — and we’re actively trying to sell our car this week — we were suddenly caught between a rock and a hard place. We originally had an at-home Safelite appointment scheduled from 12–5 PM. Because I had no keys, we canceled and moved the appointment to another day. Then, unexpectedly, my wife was able to take a break from work and drive the keys back home. That triggered another call back to Safelite asking if we could simply reinstate the original appointment slot we had literally canceled about 45 minutes earlier. The first representative I spoke with was polite and trying to help, but I could tell there was a great deal of uncertainty in the conversation. I was told something about how once an at-home appointment is canceled, if they don’t hear back within 10 minutes, they somehow can’t fit you back into the schedule. Respectfully — that math made absolutely no sense. Safelite gives customers a 5-hour service window. I called back at 11:21 AM, and my original appointment window didn’t even START until noon. Nobody had contacted me yet with an ETA, and there was still over 30 minutes before the appointment window even opened. Logically, it seemed incredibly reasonable that someone could simply contact the technician, explain the situation, and ask if rerouting back to our house was possible — especially considering he already had our parts onboard. Thankfully, I was transferred to a manager named Renzo. Renzo did exactly what customer service is supposed to be. No drama. No impossible excuses. No making it sound like I needed to contact Donald Trump himself to get my appointment reinstated. He simply listened, understood the situation, contacted the technician directly, and worked to get things back on track. He told me the technician would personally call me and genuinely cared about trying to help instead of defaulting to “sorry, we can’t.” As a firefighter/paramedic working one of the busiest ambulances in DuPage County, I promise you my request was not some catastrophic logistical nightmare as someone who is married to stress and people’s worst days. Renzo understood that immediately and treated us like real people instead of a ticket number. So to be clear — I’m not really leaving this review for Safelite corporate or my initial experience. I’m leaving this review for Renzo. Thank you for actually caring, using common sense, and providing customer service the way it should be done.
