Windshield Repair & Replacement in Albany, NY

Freeze and thaw is the reason. Moisture works its way into a chip, then expands when it refreezes overnight and pushes the glass apart from the inside. Add the contraction that comes with cold and one hard New York pothole, and a chip you could have filled last month becomes a crack that needs a full replacement.

Yes. Auto Glass Now provides a lifetime warranty on windshield repairs and replacements against leaks, molding issues, and glass defects, for as long as you own or lease the vehicle. It covers defects in workmanship and materials, and it does not transfer if you sell the vehicle. Some conditions apply, and your local store can confirm the details.

The Albany shop is a controlled environment with more equipment on hand, which makes it the better option on a rough New York weather day.

Avoid household cleaners on the interior too, since ammonia residue contributes to fogging and damages window tint.
