Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Calibration

Many vehicles today have Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which rely on a camera mounted to the windshield. If your windshield is being replaced, it's essential to recalibrate the camera to restore it to OEM settings to ensure it operate safely and accurately.

Since accuracy is critical, the calibration process may take some additional time.  We appreciate your patience and recommend planning accordingly.

Have Questions? We Can Help.

My windshield has a camera, will it work after replacement?

Today's vehicles often incorporate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS technologies), such as lane departure warnings, collision sensors, and automatic braking systems, all of which rely on precision alignment of sensors and a camera attached to the windshield. If these systems aren’t properly calibrated after replacing your windshield, it could result in malfunctioning safety features, potentially putting drivers and passengers at risk. Because of the critical role this system plays in safety, it is required that the camera is calibrated to return it to it's factory settings. If not calibrated correctly, these systems will not work properly. Contact your local Auto Glass Now for more details or a price estimate.

How does calibration services impact my service?

Every vehicle is unique, and has it very own requirements and procedures of how to perform a calibration. Due to this, if a calibrations service is required, it could extend the estimated repair time of the vehicle. This is a necessary measure to ensure the service is done correctly and with care. Your safety is number one, and should never be rushed. But rest assured we will get you back on the road as quickly as possible!
